| Engine Travels to Neffsville |

On Saturday night February 20th Engine 422 made the drive to Neffsville (Co 27) for a stand by. Several weeks eariler Chief Elliott requested the company stand by for Neffsville while they attended the Manheim Township Emergency Services Banquet. Engine 2 and a crew of 6 departed Gap around 15:30. Upon arriving at Neffsville the crew was met by Chief Elliot. The Chief went over the procedure for the evening as well as a tour of their station. While at the station the crew occupied themselves by playing many games of ping pong and watching Olympic Ice Hockey. Engine 2 stood by until about 23:00 with no calls answered. Thanks to Neffsville for the hospitality and the meal they provided. |
