Fire Alarm Upgraded to Building Fire

Fri, Mar 20th, 2020 11:09:00 pm - Late Friday night Engine 421 and Truck 42 were alerted for an Automatic Alarm at 5725 Lincoln Highway at the Brass Eagle restaurant. Prior to Engine 421 responding, county gave additional of general fire alarm and also a passer by stated they saw smoke. Engine 421 soon made the response and county upgraded to a building box which added Rescue 42 and mutual aid companies. Captain 422 arrived and confirmed the report. Truck and Rescue responded shortly after. Engine 421 arrived and stretched a 300' 1-3/4" handline to the front door. Crews forced both sets of doors and made entry to a smoke condition. Engine crews located a small fire in the main dining area. Crews were able to very quickly extinguish the fire. Truck and Rescue crews assisted with ventilation. The assignment was then downgraded and held to Station 42. Units clear the scene around an hour later.
