Members Kept Busy Around the Station

 
 
Sat, May 18th, 2019 8:00:00 pm - Several Members of the Gap Fire Co. were spending their afternoon at the station. Members mounted the Drivers SCBA pack on Truck 42's turntable, which allows for the driver to pack up quickly if needed. Also, several guys washed the Engine, Rescue and Truck. 2-Alarm Fire in White Horse
Sat, May 18th, 2019 10:49:00 am - Truck 42 responded with 5 to assist station 49 on a dwelling fire. ( Soon to be upgraded to a second alarm with entrapment. ) Fire was started by a pickup in the attached garage. The fire quickly spread to the house and the small shed beside the house. Two Box Alarms Sunday Morning
Sun, Apr 7th, 2019 4:52:00 am - At 4:52 AM Station 42 was alerted of an upgraded building assignment in West Sadsbury Township assisting station 8 ( Keystone Valley Fire Department ). Truck, Rescue and Engine all made the response with full crews. Crews from the truck went straight to work soon after arriving and assisted with a member of Station 8 on the roof. Sat, Mar 30th, 2019 5:05:00 pm - Coatesville City was at a 2 Alarm House fire in their first due, which left there station empty. Chester County Called for Lancaster County Truck 42 to respond as a Standby company to Washington Hose Co. ( Coatesville City Fire ). Truck soon went responding with 6. Truck 42 Runs Apartment Fire While On Standby
Sat, Mar 30th, 2019 10:30:00 am - Truck 42 and Engine 75-2 (Mount Joy) were on standby at Station 63 (Lafayette) while they were at a training. At 11:04 Truck 42 and Engine 75-2 along with several other mutual aid companies were alerted for a reported apartment fire on East Orange Street. Truck 42 and Engine 75-2 made a quick response.
